April Showers...Let's Talk Shower Heads

We all know what April means....showers.  So this month, we are going to talk everything "showers".....starting with shower heads.

"Shower - A mystical place where we are stripped of all inhibitions; we sing, we dance, we come up with brilliant or disastrous ideas, get energized to face the day, or relax before hitting the sack."

And today, we are going to talk about different kinds of shower heads to make your shower even more magical.

• Wall Mount or Fixed Shower Heads - are the most common and ergonomic; and, as the name indicates, is mounted to the shower wall.  Although you can change the direction of the spray and the pattern of spray with a multi-function unit, the height of this type of shower head cannot be adjusted.
• Rainfall / Rain Shower Heads - project a "rainfall effect" as opposed to the vertical spray pattern of traditional shower heads.  These can be mounted from the shower wall or the ceiling.  
• Handheld Shower Heads - have the capability of being removed from the wall mounted holder providing the freedom to give the kids a bath, wash the family pets, or clean the shower.  

• Low / High Pressure Shower Heads - are the best option for those who live in low water pressure areas.  It is designed to work efficiently with low water pressure, give a spa-like experience, and not increase your water bill.
• High-Pressure Shower Heads - are great if you are not as concerned about the costs of water and need to take at least two showers a day.  It provides a steady and powerful stream of water.
• Filtered Shower Heads - reduce the amount of chlorine, minerals, and hard water that comes through the shower head.  This shower head is designed to filter impurities from the water helping reduce dry skin and frizzy hair.
• Shower Panels - are a must for the ultimate shower experience.  They look stunning and are packed with wonderful features such as temperature control, water spraying from different directions, LED screen, etc.

• Dual Shower Heads - happen when a handheld shower head meets a fixed shower head offering two shower heads in one unit.
• LED Shower Heads - light up in various colors while in use.  It will illuminate your shower room with different colors varying with the temperatures of the water.
• Ceiling Shower Heads - are, as you guessed, mounted from the ceiling giving the experience of rain.  These are relatively larger than most shower heads and typically cost more.  

"All in all....the shower is a convenient and faster way of washing your body, but that doesn't mean that you should only focus on the practical side when buying a shower head.  Today's technology ensures that a shower can be much more than just simple jets of water."
