Fun things to do with your Valentine in 2021

As we've said before, the craziness going on in the world today has impacted so much of our lives.  But we cannot let it define us or take away our fun.  With Valentine's Day coming up, here are some enjoyable "stay-at-home" date ideas.  

• Plan a Picnic - Prepare a lovely wine and cheese plate or your favorite picnic meal, spread a blanket on the floor, and enjoy an evening by the cozy fireplace.
• Enjoy a Fondue for Two - Melt some white or dark chocolate and have an array of fruits and cookies to create a perfect evening.
• Smores - Especially for our coastal homeowners with the warmer weather, enjoy an evening by the firepit, making smores, holding hands, and planning your future.

• Reminisce - Watch the video of your wedding day or look through photos of that happy occasion.  Talk about how you felt that day, remember the fun, and fall in love all over again.
• Movie - Curl up together on the couch with your favorite snack and watch a love story or your favorite movie or the first movie you saw together when you were dating.
• Game Night - Play your favorite board game or video game together.  
• Dance -  Turn your greatroom into a ballroom.  Move the furniture out of the way, turn on the music, and dance the night away.  Research instructional videos online to learn new dances together.
• Relax - Enjoy a cup of hot chocolate, tea, or coffee together on your porch.  There is nothing like sitting together in the peace and stillness to build a deeper love for one another.

Making Valentine's Day special and memorable does not have to break the bank or cause you to go outside of your beautiful home.
